MANE Ivory Coast has strengthened its regional presence with the opening of a new perfume creation centre in Abidjan. A team of experts now works in the new space, a paragon of perfumery expertise equipped with two laboratories for perfume compounding and cosmetic applications.

Samantha Mane, MANE Group Vice President and EMEA Regional Director, and Gabriel Lalande, MANE Fragrance Director for Africa, attended the opening ceremony on 30 November, which gathered key players from the cosmetics, soap and agri-food industries in Ivory Coast.

MANE has been pioneering the perfumery industry on the continent since 2001, when it opened the first ever African creative fragrance centre in Johannesburg, South Africa.

The opening of this new creative hub dedicated to West and Central Africa marks a significant milestone in the Group's overall vision, focused on building a deep understanding of consumer preferences and transferring expertise to develop local capabilities.

By strategically positioning itself at the heart of West African markets, MANE aims to further bolster its working relationships with manufacturers in the region to create and produce innovative perfumes.
